Win an appearance from the Megaforce Power Rangers!

July 29 2013

Bid now and you could win an appearance from the Megaforce Power Rangers! This is your chance to have the 5 Megaforce Power Rangers appear at a special event, your child's school, or at a community event.  The appearance (limited to the greater Los Angeles area) will include a brief performance by the Megaforce Rangers, who will display their martial arts skills and Power Moves, as well as include the opportunity for photos with the Rangers. The costumed Rangers will interact with kids at the event to demonstrate how to "Train like a Ranger" and put Power Rangers values into action.

The Rangers will bring a gift basket with Power Rangers toys with them to distribute during the event. The winner (if the prize is awarded to a child) will also include the child being named the "Ranger of the Week" right here on the Power Rangers emPOWER website.

The Power Rangers are participating in “School Day,” an auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences, with the proceeds benefiting Communities in Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA), on global charity auction site Charitybuzz.com.  Bidding kicked off on the Power Rangers appearance and many other amazing prizes at www.Charitybuzz.com/SchoolDay on Thursday, July 25 and runs through Tuesday, August 13. The campaign is designed to culminate with the experiences being redeemed on or around September 20, 2013, “School Day.”

One hundred percent of net proceeds from the auction will benefit Communities In Schools of Los Angeles (CISLA), which serves over 16,000 students each year at 12 of the highest-need traditional public middle and high schools. CISLA, whose mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life, is addressing the Los Angeles dropout crisis by modifying the fundamental way in which student supports are delivered to schools and families in the city.

The “School Day” campaign was created in partnership with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency, and its philanthropic arm, the CAA Foundation, long-time supporters of children’s education. Saban Brands and the Power Rangers are proud to be part of the "School Day" effort.
