In London with Let's Move for the Olympics!

July 31 2012

The Power Rangers had an incredible day on Friday June 27th, 2012 in the giant back yard at Winfield House, the United States Ambassador's residence in London, United Kingdom.

In order to celebrate the beginning of the 2012 Summer Olympics, Michelle Obama's Let's Move program and Nickelodeon created a great day for kids from local London schools and children of US military service members.

The back lawn of the Ambassador's home was full of tennis courts, hula hoops, soccer goals, and dancing as kids got together to get active in honor of the Olympics.

Current and former US Olympic team members including Carl Lewis, Apolo Ohno, Grant Hill, Dara Torres, Brandi Chastain, and many more played with the kids and had a blast. (We had some special guests from the UK too - like soccer legend David Beckham!). And Michelle Obama told us all about how we can all learn to stick to a training regimen and be inspired by our Olympic heros.

The Power Rangers played tennis, soccer, and parachute with the kids, and had a great time meeting some Olympic heroes.
