emPOWERing the UK!

September 5 2013

Last week, Power Rangers emPOWER brought the Power Rangers values of exercise and healthy eating to kids across the United Kingdom!  With stops at Intu Shopping Centres from Glasgow to Manchester, the Power Rangers ‘Back to School with Megaforce’ UK mall tour visited seven different malls in celebration of Saban’s Power Rangers 20th Anniversary as well as the Power Rangers Megaforce UK launch on Channel 5. The UK tour will contine with stops in France this Autumn!

The tour features family activities, and offers exclusive meet and greets, and photo opportunities with the new Power Rangers Megaforce. Each stop had a dress-up area where kids could put on costumes by Rubie’s Masquerade, and have their photos taken on an action background with Power Ranger props. Guests had the chance to get their faces painted as their favourite Ranger and enjoyed a coloring station.

As a part of the Power Rangers emPOWER program, children at each event participated in on-stage demonstrations of martial arts "Ranger moves" and learned how to "Train like a Ranger" with the emPOWER program.  Power Rangers emPOWER teaches kids and families how to put into action the core Power Rangers values of teamwork, confidence, friendship, standing for what’s right and health and physical activity.
